Women Fair Trade Leaders Awarded: Bethlehem Tilahun Alemu

The World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) has acknowledged soleRebels founder Bethlehem Tilahun Alemu this morning on their website. Along with two other incredible female leaders in fair trade, Carry Somers and Bitten Hogh, Bethlehem was noted for her contributions throughout 2013.

we are not celebrating just because Carry Somers, Bitten Hogh and Bethlehem Tilahun Alemu are women. We are taking pride in the recognition of ethical, fair and socially conscious business as an important recognition that there is an alternative way of doing trade in the pursuit of a more just world.
